The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and appearance of gardens, lawns, and other green spaces. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Repair or replace damaged components of irrigation systems as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules and ensure proper care for plants and lawns. Dig trenches for piping installation while adhering to safety protocols. Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements based on landscape needs. Driver’s license required. Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance, with a focus on irrigation systems preferred. Familiarity with lawn care practices and techniques related to irrigation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment. Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in building or modifying irrigation systems is a plus.
