Land Mainteace Worker Thundercloud Gun Club 30345 State Road 62, Parrish, FL 34219 Land Maintenance Worker Full time-Year round Thundercloud Ranch, located in Parrish, FL, is a Pristine Piece of Old Florida at just under 3000 acres and is managed to maintain outdoor native Florida habitat for wildlife while providing activities for our private members club. It is truly a unique recreational conservation arena enriched by wilderness and wildlife. We are seeking that one special person who loves the outdoors as much as we do. An effective applicant will be a good fit with a skill set to safely operate machinery for shredding and tractor work, ability to work with controlled burns and ongoing invasive plant control. Implement woods operation to clearing of paths, trails, access roads, and fence repairs and/or new installation of fencing. A commitment to environmental stewardship, attention to detail, and experience in land maintenance are essential to succeed in this position. Plus other assigned task as needed.

Our requirements are:

• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Have prior experience in woods maintenance
• Capable of operating two-handed equipment (chain saws, circular saws) and have the physical ability to endure extreme climate variances.
• Be able to perform skilled labor tasks of mowing, tree trimming and fence repairs.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs to shoulder height. Additional motions to push, pull, and/or reaching overhead, walking, bending, and grasping.
• Knowledge of operating large tractors (farm equipment) and zero turn mowers.

Pay to commensurate with work history: $21.00-$25.00 per hour. Employee (only) housing available to the right candidate.
