TIME FARM POSITION

Large farm in northwest Ocala, Florida is looking for an individual to join our farm family. This is a position for someone who is an active learner and worker. We are looking for someone who will consistently and energetically strive to improve and be a valuable part of our Team. The person needs to be passionate in their willingness to work either alone or in a group atmosphere and have the utmost care for the animals, equipment and facilities. This Full-Time position involves all aspects of horse care and farm operations. The animals include retired horses, ponies and donkeys. Aside from the animal responsibilities, some of the farm duties include but not limited to zero turn and or batwing mowing, weed eating, dragging fields and general landscape and facility maintenance projects. Horse experience is preferred.

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR HORSE TRAINERS

. We offer top pay based on experience along with a Quarterly Bonus Incentive Program. The work schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday 730 am – 430pm, lunch 12-1, days off are Friday and Saturday. Long Term Position Qualifications Proven experience in farming and agriculture Strong equine experience and animal care skills Mechanical knowledge and basic equipment operation Proficient in operating farm or landscape machinery Familiarity with animal husbandry and handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting, hay bales, feed bags, etc. Basic math skills for farm-related tasks
