The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in various landscapes and gardens. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation practices, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Irrigation Worker will play a vital role in ensuring that landscapes are properly irrigated and maintained for optimal growth and health. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, build irrigation layouts, and repair existing systems. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify any issues or areas for improvement. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure that all areas are adequately irrigated. Assist in lawn care activities, including watering schedules and landscape maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Follow safety protocols while working with tools and equipment in various outdoor environments. Skills Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to irrigation installation and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems effectively. Experience in landscape maintenance and gardening practices is highly desirable. Ability to build, dig, and set up irrigation systems according to specifications.
