The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in various garden and landscape settings. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip lines, sprinklers, and pumps. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Repair or replace damaged components using hand tools and power tools. Ensure proper water distribution across landscapes to promote healthy plant growth. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system malfunctions effectively. Dig trenches for new installations or repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with various irrigation methods and equipment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
