Sprinkler technician – helper Daniel’s Company Pine Hills, FL 32808 Job Summary Well established and reputable irrigation repair company in the Central Orlando area, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Irrigation Technician Helper to join our expanding team. If you are a skilled professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for providing quality service, we encourage you to apply! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting lead irrigation tech with maintenance inspections, troubleshooting and repairing existing residential irrigation systems.
This includes:
Diagnosing and repairing irrigation electrical systems. Locating, rebuilding, and replacing irrigation valves. Repairing pipe breaks of all sizes (up to 2.5″). Replacing various types of sprinkler heads and nozzles. Familiarity with irrigation systems with shallow wells is a plus Knowledge of shallow well systems and their components is highly desirable. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: Minimum of 1 -2 year of provable hands-on field experience in landscaping irrigation repair. Familiarity with shallow well drilling systems and their operation is a significant plus. Fluent English language skills. Your own transportation, a valid Florida driver’s license, and a good driving record Comfortable with technology The physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A strong willingness and ability to learn and follow company protocols. Basic knowledge of pipe sizing, fittings, nozzle design, and irrigation system fundamentals. The ability to inspect properties, generate, and communicate detailed work orders. Excellent attention to detail and a strong awareness of safety hazards. Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills when interacting with team members and clients. A strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively. Be able to pass background screening and drug test Valid Florida driver’s license
