• Responsible for being part of a Wetland crew. These crews perform a variety of wetland task/projects.
• These tasks/projects can range from mixing herbicides to spray unwanted vegetation to 1-time removals by hand or mechanical means. The crews plant trees and/or plants in or near wetland areas and other projects that are assigned.
• This position will be working outside, Monday
• Thursday/Friday, starting at approx. 6:30 am and working 8-10 hrs. a day year-round.
• A person with landscaping experience would be a plus.
• The position would also be a backup crew driver on occasion and a person with a clean driving record; no wrecks or tickets, and has had their driver’s license for at least 3 years would be a plus.
• Responsible for professional verbal communications in English and Spanish.
• An organized person who can stay on schedule and accurately complete reports for upper management.
• Physical demands: Standing and/or sitting for long periods of time are needed.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch are needed.
• Use of hands, arms, eyes, and voice as required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by a Supervisor and/or Operation Manager.
