Irrigation Technician
Full-time Kissimmee, FL Resort Ops
Resort Operations Company Description Pay rate: $19 / hour – Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it. Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort boasts more than 3,000 accommodations and offers a great opportunity to meet and share stories with guests who arrive from around the world to enjoy Central Florida’s world-famous theme parks and attractions. Enjoy our world-class resort’s surroundings and excitement, such as 14 heated outdoor pools, 14 hot tubs, and the state-of-the-art Shipwreck Island Water Park. Job Description Operates, maintains, and repairs existing irrigation systems to ensure adequate moisture for plantings. Sets and maintains automatic irrigation systems to run systematically according to the landscape care program. Designs, installs, tests, and maintains new irrigation systems, backflow devices and controllers. Install irrigation and sprinkler systems
Tests systems for potential issues
Evaluate the winterization of each system
Sprinkler valve repair
Landscape area as needed
Maintains a safe work environment and performs all duties in a safe manner.

Some post-secondary training in irrigation or landscaping preferred
Backflow/Irrigation Install Certification preferred
Proficient in design, installation, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems required
Valid FL driver’s license
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
