The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance for gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. The Irrigation Technician will work with various tools and equipment to create efficient irrigation solutions that promote healthy plant growth. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Assess the irrigation needs of various landscapes and gardens. Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches and lay piping. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning irrigation systems. Regularly inspect systems for leaks, clogs, or other issues. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules. Educate clients on the best practices for lawn care and irrigation management. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Experience in building or repairing irrigation components is preferred. Familiarity with lawn care techniques and garden maintenance. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical ability to dig, lift, and move equipment as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
