Irrigation Technician Ameriscape inc West Palm Beach, FL 33412 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with landscape teams to enhance the beauty and health of outdoor spaces. Duties Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches and set up irrigation lines. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall lawn care strategies. Build and modify irrigation systems based on specific garden or landscape requirements. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system modifications. Provide recommendations for improving irrigation efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation and repair processes. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A passion for gardening and landscaping is a plus.
