Irrigation Technician Finn Irrigation Boynton Beach, FL 33474 looking to learn a trade? look no further. No experience required, we will train. We will even pay for you to become a certified irrigation technician. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of plumbing and electrical, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems for various landscapes and gardens. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment, including pumps, valves, and controllers. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, install pipes, and build necessary structures for irrigation setups. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs. Maintain accurate records of irrigation system performance and repairs performed. Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and landscape care techniques. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to landscape maintenance. Knowledge of lawn care practices, including the ability to irrigate effectively based on plant requirements. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various irrigation components. Experience in landscape maintenance with a focus on garden care. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required for installation tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
