Sod Stacker/Harvesting Team Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Sod Stacker/Harvesting Team JW Turf Farms Inc Belle Glade, FL 33430 JW Turf Farms is looking for a full-time employee to join the sod stacking crew who will be responsible for harvesting sod at our Belle Glade Farm location. This potential candidate must be able to carry out written and oral instructions, possess clear verbal communication skills, be willing to work with a team, be self-motivated, and have reliable transportation to and from work.

Position Requirements:

Safely drive, maneuver, and maintain a tractor harvester with a minimum of six months farm work experience. Employee may work up to six days a week depending on peak season. Follow and uphold JW Turf Farms Drug Free Workplace Policies and Procedures. Follow and uphold JW Turf Farms Safety Policies and Procedures, Driver Policies, and Employee Handbook. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch and squat for long periods of time. Be able to physically withstand up to 11-hour days year-round, with farm conditions including but not limited to summer heat, rain, mud, extreme dust during dry/drought periods, limited shade conditions during some work tasks, thorns, pests, etc. JW Turf Farms Inc is a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
