POSITION
OBJECTIVE
The Irrigation Technician at Innisbrook Resort will play a crucial role in maintaining the lush landscapes that enhance the guest experience. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems throughout the resort grounds.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The technician will ensure that all areas are adequately watered, promoting healthy plant growth and sustainability. By monitoring water usage and system efficiency, the technician will contribute to the resort’s environmental initiatives. Ultimately, the goal is to create a visually appealing and well-maintained outdoor environment that aligns with the resort’s high standards of hospitality and recreation.
Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and pumps.
Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to optimize water usage.
Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant repairs needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
Basic understanding of horticulture and landscape management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in irrigation technology or landscape management
Experience working in a hospitality or resort environment. Knowledge of local water regulations and conservation practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day.
