Irrigation work requires long hours in the sun, so candidates must be physically capable of performing manual labor outdoors throughout the day. Additionally, candidates must be able to accurately track the repairs they complete and communicate those details with the office daily. Duties Diagnose and repair minor issues in residential and commercial irrigation systems independently. Identify major repair needs and communicate with the office to coordinate additional support. Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients. Troubleshoot and repair problems with irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, pumps, wells, and timers. Must be familiar with both shallow and deep well systems. Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle. Communicate material and repair needs with the office or manager. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Must have a valid driver’s license. Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience working on irrigation systems in Florida. Strong mechanical knowledge of irrigation system components is essential. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments. Reliable transportation to and from the shop is required. Additional Notes This position is for an experienced technician who can operate a company service vehicle and perform minor repairs on irrigation systems throughout the Tampa Bay area.
