Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscaping, irrigation systems, and mechanical skills.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems
• Perform regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of the system
• Adjust sprinkler heads and water flow rates as needed
• Replace or repair damaged components such as valves, pipes, and timers
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure efficient watering schedules
• Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Experience:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation/repair
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in landscaping
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics for irrigation systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
