Job Description
Experiened Plant Nursery Person Thompson’s Nursery, Inc. 1360 Christopher Court, Davenport, FL 33896 Thompson’s Nursery, Inc. is seeking a skilled plant nursery professional, specializing in propagation from cuttings. The primary plants for propagation include azaleas, viburnum and podocarpus. We have a small plant nursery and need a person that is dependable, has a good work ethic and attitude.
Duties:
Propagate cuttings Perform landscaping duties including, but not limited to, light maintenance and pruning of trees and shrubs, and watering plants. Perform duties to maintain plants in our nursery, to include trimming, fertilizing, weeding, watering, stepping up to next size pot. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform general physical work such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling up to 75 pounds, standing for an entire shift, using power tools/hand tools, etc. Ability to operate power tools/hand tools in a safe manner required. Must have propagation experience.
Job Types:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
