Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Tractor Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a tractor to cut and maintain large areas of land on a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and has hands-on experience with tractor operation and routine tractor maintenance.

Pay Range:

$18-26/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Operate a tractor to mow and maintain large fields and grounds Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening, greasing) Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used properly Keep daily logs of work completed and maintenance performed Collaborate with the team to prioritize work areas

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) Proven experience operating tractors and mowing equipment Strong knowledge of tractor controls/operation and routine tractor maintenance Reliable with a strong work ethic and good time management Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude or small engine repair experience Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines related to groundskeeping
