Irrigation Technician II Heroes Lawn Care of Alpharetta 1360 Union Hill Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, with hands-on experience in installing and maintaining irrigation systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure efficient water distribution for gardens and landscapes. Duties Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, lay pipes, and set up sprinkler systems. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or clogs. Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal changes and specific landscape needs. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure that all areas are adequately irrigated. Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation efficiency and water conservation practices. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system adjustments. Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for installation and repairs. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job. Understanding of irrigation principles, including water distribution methods and plant watering needs. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
