The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the ranch, ensuring the well-being of livestock, and assisting in the overall management of ranch activities. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for agriculture and animal care specialized in cattle. We have over 250 registered black angus and would love someone to come in with cattle experience and help with all various duties. We do offer housing or moving experience if needed. Duties Maintain the cleanliness and organization of barns, stables, and other facilities. Work cattle and make sure they are getting the correct feed and keeping them healthy. Repairs and build fences. Bale hay Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, including moving feed, equipment, and supplies. Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently to assist with daily operations. Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks around the ranch. Provide animal care including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health conditions. Handle animals safely during routine care or when moving them between pastures or enclosures. Operate heavy equipment when required for various ranch activities. Qualifications Previous experience in cattle ranching or farming is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Familiarity with farm machinery operation is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong skills in animal care and handling are essential for this position. Must be physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid driver’s license may be required for operating vehicles on the ranch.
