Job Description
Farm Worker Roxburgh Acres Comer, GA 30629 Overview We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as Poultry Farm Worker. This role is essential in maintaining the daily operations of our farm, which includes picking and stacking eggs, following housekeeping protocols, and ensuring the overall productivity of the agricultural environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting. Duties Perform daily tasks related to table egg poultry houses, including feeding, egg collection, and maintaining the upkeep of poultry houses. Operate hand tools and equipment necessary for farm maintenance and daily tasks. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required for various farming activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including egg tables, egg rooms and surrounding areas. Skills Knowledge of poultry farming practices is preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. Proficiency in using hand tools effectively for various farming applications. Strong understanding of the farms scheduling and ability to follow this. Experience in poultry farming equipment upkeep is preferred but not required. A genuine interest in agriculture and commitment to maintaining high standards on the farm. Must have reliable transport to and from the farm. Work schedule will be a choice of 3 days minimum to 5 days maximum. 3 day selection: Tues-Thurs or Fri-Sun 4 day selection: Tues-Fri, Wed-Sat or Thurs-Sun 5 day selection: Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat or Wed-Sun.
