We are seeking a reliable and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and healthy landscapes. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and experience with various irrigation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including timers, valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, clogs, low pressure, and electrical problems Adjust system settings for seasonal changes and plant needs Inspect and test systems for proper operation and water efficiency Maintain records of inspections, services performed, and materials used Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively Collaborate with landscaping or grounds crews to coordinate irrigation needs Ensure compliance with local water regulations and environmental standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CLIA, CID) 1-3 years of experience in irrigation installation or maintenance Strong understanding of irrigation systems, water flow, and electrical components Ability to read blueprints and irrigation plans Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with smart irrigation controllers and water-saving technologies Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
