Irrigation Technician Position Available In Newton, Georgia

Irrigation Technician Baxley Irrigation Covington, GA 30016 “`Duties“`

• Perform irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles to ensure proper water distribution
• Install, program, and repair irrigation controllers
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, and fittings
• Monitor and adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs
• Operate hand tools and power tools to complete irrigation projects
• Collaborate with landscaping team to ensure proper irrigation for plants, trees, and lawns “`Requirements“`
• Previous experience in irrigation required
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair irrigation system components
• Ability to dig trenches for pipe installation and perform manual labor as needed
• Knowledge of different types of sprinkler heads, valves, and fittings
• Familiarity with irrigation controllers and programming
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
