Drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors, ATVs, and self-propelled machinery to till soil, prepare fields, and plant crops; Set up and operate irrigation equipment, including laying pipes, maintaining ditches, and ensuring adequate water supply to crops; Cultivate crops through mechanical or manual methods, including weeding and applying fertilizers; Assist with cleaning, bagging, stacking, and loading 50lb corn bags; Drive and control farm equipment to irrigate, cultivate, and harvest crops, adjusting implements as needed; Operate forklift to load gooseneck trailer with pallets of corn; Load and unload harvested crops into trucks or storage containers, maintaining organization and efficiency; Clean and maintain storage areas and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency; Perform general farm labor tasks as needed, including landscaping, clearing debris, and maintaining farm grounds; Report any machinery malfunctions or operational issues to supervisors. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. Workers may be asked, but are not required, to work on their Sabbath. Exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting and walking.
