Point Of Sale Job Description:

Associates must be able to learn and be proficient in this point-of-sale program. The point of sales tasks includes entering customer information, providing status of order, and inputting additional details for orders. Other duties include answering the phone, greeting customers, directing customers to areas of interest, and page sales associated with 2-way radios for assisting customers. All responsibilities will be done by Blueview Procedures.

PERENNIAL / ANNUAL SALES

Job Description:

Working with our wholesale and retail customers to provide them with the proper plants they need. Have proper knowledge of perennial and annuals and their specific water needs or a willingness to learn. Capable of pruning plant material as well as performing perennial area maintenance.

Specific Qualifications:

Retail and or wholesale experience Plant knowledge and identification Computer skills are a plus

GENERAL SALES

LABORER Job Description:

Associates in this position will be involved in the nursery’s daily operations. Laborers are expected to perform tasks on the farm that involve manual labor. This may include but is not limited to, digging holes, property maintenance, aiding in loading trucks and tying root balls. This position also involves the upkeep of the nurseries irrigation system, as well as hand watering in areas around the nursery.

Specific Qualifications:

Irrigation knowledge of drip and overhead systems Valid driver’s license and medical card Physical capabilities to perform hard labor

MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Description:

This position engages in the nursery’s daily operations. This associate will be operating a skid steer to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading plant material, loam, and mulch. Associate will be responsible for daily machine maintenance (greasing, washing/cleaning, and fueling). This position also involves the upkeep of the nurseries irrigation system.

Specific Qualifications:

Experience in operating a skid-steer or other similar machinery Valid driver’s license, medical card, and hoisting license Irrigation knowledge of drip and overhead systems
