Cannabis Lab Extraction Technician 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars Littleton, MA 01460 Sanctuary Medicinals is seeking a highly competent, driven, and diligent candidate for an Extraction Technician role in our laboratory. The Extraction Technician will be responsible for all aspects of running our hydrocarbon extraction system, including: Packing and unpacking material columns Packing and unpacking filtration media Ensuring the system is properly sealed and assembled Ensuring solvent tanks are filled and temperature settings are within spec Running extractions according to established SOPs Maintaining equipment as needed and able Cleaning up the extraction area at the end of each day and ensuring the system is ready to run in the morning Aiding in product packaging as needed Aiding in general lab cleanup as needed Aiding in post-processing as needed This position is monday to friday 8am to 4:30pm. The Extraction technician will report to the Laboratory Manager.

Requirements:

• THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB

  – ability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs, perform repetitive wrist and arm motions, and transition between squatting and standing positions consistently throughout the workday is required

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed directions
• Associates degree or higher in chemistry, engineering, biology, or similar field a plus
• Strong working knowledge of pressurized gas behavior and thermodynamic flow is required
• Strong desire to work in the cannabis industry
• Prior hands-on laboratory experience desired
• Prior experience in cannabis extraction a plus
• Competence in algebra and basic mathematics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep clean documentation
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment a plus
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work both quickly and carefully
• Ability to run procedures using both metric and imperial measurements
• Ability to work on your feet the majority of the day in a fast-paced environment

Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
