This is a full-time role focusedon handling various grain-related tasks. Key responsibilitiesinclude loading and unloading trucks with grain, operating avariety of heavy equipment, and monitoring the quality of grain.

The role also involves grain sweeping, maintaining accurateinventory records, performing grounds maintenance, and ensuring aclean and safe work environment. Responsibilities

  • As directed, carry out general laborresponsibilities promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities mayinclude:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the commoditieshandled at the location and comply with company policy andgovernment regulations pertaining to commodities.
  • Work withcustomers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Prepare trucksfor loading/unloading, which may require sampling, loosening largenuts, opening hatches, and attaching and/or detaching flexiblehoses.
  • Load and unload agricultural inputs from trucks usingheavy or light duty machinery/equipment. May include bulk and orpackaged material.
  • Control and monitor all load out functions.
  • Understand and operate automated scale/dump systems.
  • Conduct andproperly record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasksincluding but not limited to lubrication of pumps, valves, andloading arms. Inspect in-use equipment looking for seeps and leaksof process equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain quality of inventory(may include blended, bulk or packaged product).
  • Deliver productssuch as fertilizer, chemical, seed, feed and others to customersites.
  • Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly and safecondition. Conduct regular housekeeping duties such as sweeping,shoveling, power washing, scraping and cleaning up spills. Completeappropriate record keeping.
  • Perform grounds maintenance includingsnow removal.
  • Perform warehouse work including driving loader,loading/unloading inventory, forklift operation, and generalmaintenance.
  • Promptly report any customer complaints, repair ormaintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Maintain andpromote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies,procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplacehazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actionsor conditions.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, andsafety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assignedto ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receiveexcellent customer service. Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Must meetminimum age requirement Additional Qualifications
  • Ability tooperate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and trackmobile
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meetbusiness demands
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • CDLlicense or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Agriculture experience preferred
  • Forklift certiificationpreferred

Compensation includes base wageand, depending upon position, may include other earnings such asbonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will varybased on multiple factors which may include, without limitation,experience, education, training, specialized skills andcertifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
