7AM-3PM, required. This position is YEAR ROUND, we are not looking for seasonal help at this time!

Treasure Hunt Farm Foundation is a private, non-profit farm animal sanctuary dedicated to providing a peaceful retirement for our animals—most of whom have been forgotten or neglected. Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced barn worker with a passion for animal care, particularly with equine experience. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, attentive, and comfortable working with animals that require gentle handling and basic medical attention. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Animal Care:
Feed, medicate, groom, and clean stalls/coops for all animals.
Turn-In and Out:
Manage the daily turning in and out of animals to and from their enclosures.
Maintenance:
Perform light yard work to maintain a safe and clean environment for our animals.
Animal Welfare:
Monitor the health and well-being of all animals and report any concerns.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure comprehensive care and a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience working with horses and farm animals required. Attention to
Detail:
Strong observational skills to ensure animal health and safety.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members. Passion for
Animal Welfare:
A genuine love and commitment to providing exceptional care for all farm animals. Reliable- Looking for someone with reliable transportation who is punctual, honest, and hardworking!
Compensation:
Starting pay will be between $16 and $18 per hour for candidates with substantial experience in animal care and barn work. We recognize and value the skills and dedication of our team members, and after completing your initial training period, a raise will be considered based on your reliability, contribution, and commitment to our mission. We believe in rewarding hard work and dependability to foster a motivated and cohesive team dedicated to the well-being of our animals.
