)Farmworkers and laborers crop12 12 8/21/2025 11/21/2025?400777757?8 304 00?This job includes a combination of tasks involving but not limited to:pruning, thinning, spraying, mowing,trellising, repair and maintenance of farm buildings and fences,planting, weeding, shoveling harvesting,(packing cranberries). The crops include apples, grapes, pumpkins,aronia berries, blueberries, andcranberries. Workers will lift approximately 50 pounds sometimes whileon a ladder up to 16′ feet tall.
Workers will carefully harvest only the correct size and color fruit orvegetable. The crew manger will explainthe minimum size and percentage of color for quality standards each dayalong with consistently monitoringbruising which must be less than 5%. Work is outdoors in verse weatherconditions; hot, cold, wet, etc. Onemonth Agricultural work experience including, harvesting any of thesecrops required. This job is best suitedto fast/careful individuals. Some apple harvest will be conductedwithout ladders or picking drops. HarvestingHoney Crisp and carefully clipping the stems is at the highest rate.
Quality standards are expected to be metafter 1/2-day training. Production standards 8 bushel per hour. Trainingwill increase daily, 50% (4bu/hr), to75% (6bu/hr), to 100% (8bu/hr) by the third day.
Clipped Honeycrispstandards:
6bu/hr; Day 1 will harvest3bu/hr, Day 2, 5bu/hr, Day 3, 6bu/hr. The crew manager will explain theminimum size and percentage ofcolor for standards each day along with consistently monitoring bruisingwhich must be less than 5%. Maydrive and operate equipment. Applicants must have a valid driverslicense to operate registered vehicles.18 83 ? 01 75 at least $18.83 per hour ?? N/AAll applicable state and federal taxes required will be withheld .
