Farm & Nursery Technician I General Overview:

Farm & Nursery Technician I supports the team by assisting with foundational tasks such as planting, watering, and harvesting. This role is ideal for those eager to gain experience in farm and nursery operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with planting and harvesting cut flowers, perennials, annuals, and potted plants. Prepare soil and planting materials for production. Monitor plant health and report concerns to the Nursery Manager. Maintain clean and organized tools and workspaces. Support basic field and nursery operations, including weeding and watering.

Skills & Qualifications:

Physical stamina, including the ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Basic knowledge of plant care and nursery operations (preferred but not required). Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver’s license.

Compensation and Benefits:

$16.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience. Paid time off (PTO). Sick time. Paid holidays. End-of-season bonus.

Position Details:

Part-time, Seasonal (April through November).
