Position Summary The Outdoor Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the outdoor cannabis cultivation process, including planting, pruning, irrigation, pest management, and harvesting. This role requires hands-on labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions. You will support the cultivation team to ensure plants are healthy, compliant, and high-yielding. Key Responsibilities Assist in all daily operations of outdoor cannabis cultivation, including: Transplanting clones or seedlings into soil Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems Performing plant care tasks such as topping, pruning, trellising, and defoliation Identifying and reporting signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with Missouri state regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cultivation site Participate in harvest activities including cutting, transporting, and trimming plant material Accurately track and log plant data using cultivation software or manual systems Operate hand tools, small machinery, and other cultivation equipment safely Comply with all safety and security protocols on-site Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and physical stamina Passion for plants, horticulture, or sustainable agriculture Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to pass background check per Missouri cannabis regulations

Preferred:

Prior experience in outdoor farming, cannabis cultivation, or horticulture Knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy, growth stages, and care techniques Familiarity with metric measurements and basic cultivation software or tools Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and walking across uneven terrain Comfortable working in hot, humid, or cold outdoor environments
