Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. Job Offer:
5 general farmworkers. This ETA 790 job order is filed for Farmworker and Labors, Crop 45-2092.00. Workers will perform multiple duties associated with this SOC code and the code of Agricultural Equipment Operators (45-2091.00).
Corn, Oats, Grass, Soybeans and Peanuts:
Workers will perform a variety of manual tasks appropriate for row crops being planted cultivated and harvested. Workers will help in preparing the land for planting. This may include attaching farm implements such as a plow, disc, and drill to
tractor. May drive a tractor in field to till soil in preparation of planting. Worker may apply various types of fertilizer to the soil and plants. These bags can weigh between 60-75 lbs. Workers may cultivate and thin crops using a hoe. Workers will remove undesirable and excess growth,
and weeds by hand. Carries supplies such as bags and bailing wires to the fields. Clears irrigation ditches, using shovel. Workers may husk and shell corn. Loads and unloads trucks, unloads grain onto conveyors to storage bins or elevators. Cleans and lubricates farm machines.
Workers may be required to ride on planter, and brush debris from furrow plowing sprouts.
Grass Seed:
Cutting, Cleaning, bagging & loading.
Farm Maintenance:
Workers will perform general farm maintenance duties such as mowing, weed eating, farm building and shed repairs.
Worker must possess the physical strength and endurance (ability to continue or last) to repeat the harvest process though out the workday, working quickly and skillfully to perform activities assigned during that activity. Workers must work at a sustained (continuing for an extended period
of time without interruption), vigorous pace (quick and steady) and make bona fide efforts (made in earnest intent) to work efficiently (performing or functions in the best possible manner with the least waste of time and effort) and consistently (same way for a long time) that are
reasonable under the climatic and other working conditions, Workers may not leave trash, or other discarded items in work areas or vehicles but must dispose of such items in provided receptacles. Workers must wash hands with soap and water after all bathroom and meal breaks.
Allergies to varieties of ragweed, goldenrod, insecticides, related agricultural chemicals, etc., may affect worker’s ability to perform the work described herein.
Feed and water livestock; and monitor food and water supplies. Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Mix feed, additives, and
medicines in prescribed portions. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Move equipment, or livestock from one location to another, manually or using trucks or carts. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes,
shovels, water hoses, and/or pumps. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. May be required to separate/sort livestock according to size and weight. Workers may be required to apply ID tags. Duties may include feeding, watering, herding, grazing,
branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist in birth deliveries; and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas.
Sanitation Requirements:
For food and general personal safety purposes, all workers will be required and expected to follow common sanitary practices at all times. This is particularly critical when hand harvesting crops for human consumption. Employees are required to cleanse their
hands by washing them thoroughly with soap and water after using the bathroom and before entering the fields for harvest activities or the packing facility for packing operations. Pay – Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR): $14.53 per hour guarantee. ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is February 15, 2025 to December 15, 2025.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Friday 7 hours per day and 5 hours on Saturday. Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G.

See ETA 790. Meals (Board): See ETA 790. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer’s job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer’s H-2A workers.
