Prime Line, Inc. is a vertically integrated catfish farm with on-site processing facilities. Primary duties are drain and prepare ponds for brood fish, catfish fry, fingerlings, stockers, and food fish. Seine ponds to move fish to appropriate ponds. Pond repair and maintenance. Receive ingredients for feed, mix and prepare feed for fish. Secondary duties include clean, fillet and pack fish in processing plant. Place spawning cans in ponds, inspect for fish eggs, collect eggs, and transport eggs to hatchery, place eggs in hatching baskets, place baskets in hatching troughs. Inspect eggs regularly, treat eggs as required, collect fry from egg troughs and move to rearing troughs, monitor fry health. In hatchery, clean and disinfect egg troughs, rearing troughs and baskets. Remove spawning cans from ponds. Place pumps and screens to filter and fill fry ponds. Collect swim up fry and transport and unload into fry ponds. Feed fry, monitor and maintain water quality and fry health, protect fry from predatory birds. Seine, determine size in pounds per thousand, load, transport, and unload fingerlings into ponds, feed fingerlings, monitor and maintain water quality and fingerling health, protect fingerlings from predatory birds. Seine, determine size in pounds per thousand, load, transport, and unload stockers into ponds, feed stockers, monitor and maintain water quality and stocker health, protect stockers from predatory birds. Seine, load, transport, and unload food fish for further processing. Requires workers to operate and maintain trucks, pickups, boom trucks, fish feeders, tractors. Use oxygen meters, aerators, aerator control panels, cell phones, oxygen buoys, seine reels, seines, live cars, boats with outboard motors, pumps. Pay – Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR): $14.83 per hour guarantee.

2 hours Sunday, 10 hours Monday-Thursday and 8 hours Friday.
Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G.
