Farm Equipment Operator 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Turkey, NC 28393 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Equipment Operator to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various farm operations, ensuring the health and productivity of crops. This role requires a passion for farming and a willingness to learn and grow within the agricultural field. Pay rate and benefits will be based on experience and skill level. Group Health Insurance available after completion of six month probationary period. Duties Assist with daily farm operations, including proficiency operating various farm equipment and implements; planting, growing, and harvesting crops. Operate large / heavy farm equipment including, but not limited to: Harvester / Combine, Cultivator, and spray equipment, Forklift, Excavator, Bull dozer; safely and efficiently for various farming tasks. Utilize hand tools for maintenance and repair of farm equipment and structures. Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on farm machinery as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to achieve farming goals and improve processes. Experience Previous experience in a farming or agricultural setting is required. Must have a valid drivers licenses with Class A certification or be willing to obtain a Class A certification within 90 days of hire. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial for equipment repairs. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain farm machinery effectively. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities related to farming tasks. Knowledge of basic construction and concreate. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
