It’s also great for those who have been working in the field for a bit and want to grow. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of irrigation and be comfortable with labor. The Sprinkler Technician will work on various projects alongside the service team, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Utilize working knowledge of irrigation when performing labor duties, including digging and filling holes, raking, and maintaining job sites. Learn about sprinkler schematics to understand system layouts and requirements. Assemble components using hand tools and ensure proper fitting of all parts. Conduct regular inspections of sprinkler systems to ensure functionality and compliance. Install and follow local codes and standards to ensure work is in accordance. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs. Requirements Experience as a Sprinkler Technician or in a similar irrigation role is preferred but not required, as long as you have a working knowledge or interest. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively. Desire to learn and grow in the field, while working alongside the service team. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Valid driver’s license to meet at central Englishtown meeting place before daily jobs. Ability to work Saturdays as needed, especially during warm weather when business picks up. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
