• 25 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders, and forklifts to perform various tasks on the farm
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required, including moving hay bales, feed bags, and other supplies
• Use hand tools to repair and maintain farm structures, fences, and equipment
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix minor equipment issues
• Feeding beef cattle, cleaning pens, weighing cattle, sorting cattle,
• Provide basic medical care to animals under the guidance of a veterinarian be able to vaccinate and tag cattle.
• Perform basic math calculations for measuring feed quantities and mixing animal supplements
• Safely handle and restrain animals during routine procedures or emergencies
• Operate farm machinery such as mowers, spreaders, and tillers for field maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor in various weather conditions
• Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Knowledge of handling livestock safely
• Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities and calculating supplements
• Familiarity with farm machinery operation is a plus This position requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
