This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. Typical assignments may include live hang, debone, cut up, evisceration, hauling, overwrap and/or sanitation. Duties Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry products Perform tasks related to meat cutting, including deboning and portioning poultry products. Use knives, scissors and other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming. Clean and trim, slice, and section carcasses for future processing Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and HACCP guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks associated with the food processing environment. Experience Previous experience in a food processing plant or similar environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices, including HACCP standards, is advantageous. Experience using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively is essential.
