Irrigation Technician Shadowmoss Golf Course 20 Dunvegan Dr, Charleston, SC 29414 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to dig, build, and maintain efficient irrigation setups. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to ensure optimal performance of irrigation systems across various landscapes. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution. Dig trenches and install piping for irrigation systems as needed. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape designs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality. Provide recommendations for landscape maintenance practices that enhance water efficiency. Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with various irrigation techniques and systems is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. A background in lawn care or gardening is a plus. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
