The ideal candidate will be safe, hardworking, reliable, and have a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Assists field personnel with diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation-related problems Inventory supplies and maintains adequate on-hand supplies Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots small size pipes and types of control valves Record hours worked and parts used in Aspire software Repairs irrigation mainlines from 1″ to 3″ in size, using components and techniques established by the industry Operate a variety of landscaping tools and equipment Follow safety procedures and regulations Work independently and as part of a team Be willing to stay at a job site after hours to ensure the job is completed Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
One year of previous landscaping maintenance required Must be able to operate or use trenching and shovel to prepare trenches Must have knowledge of PVC installation and techniques Work in a safe, skillful, and timely manner Understand and use proper safety procedures Strong physical fitness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Driver’s license required Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Able to lift 50 lbs. (Equipment, tools, and supplies may need to be lifted, carried, pulled and/or pushed) Able to walk/stand for long periods of time Able to reach, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, squat, crouch and grasp along with repetitive movements may be part of daily job duties Must be able to work in summer and winter climates
Schedule:
10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Thursday plus on call during busy season
