Responsibilities include gathering, washing, weighing, and packing eggs, as well as other fieldwork tasks. The ideal candidate must be reliable, able to lift at least 30 lbs, and willing to work in various weather conditions. Hours are typically 8am-4pm with potential for more hours.

Primary Job Duties:
1) Gathering Eggs from the conveyor belts inside our nine Mobile Chicken Shelters (Google “Chicken Caravan 450”). 2) Washing, Weighing, & Packing Eggs. This includes operating the Egg Processing Machine (Washes/Weighs/Packs Eggs), the Egg Grader (Weighs Eggs), and washing any heavily soiled eggs by hand. Bonus Duties•: The ideal candidate would ALSO be interested in learning how to perform other field work such as feeding chickens, cutting grass, setting up chicken netting, moving chickens/shelters to fresh grass, cleaning nest boxes, and MORE. •Ability to learn & perform these additional tasks will increase the applicant’s hourly wage. Though most work is performed under cover, applicants MUST be willing to work in all weather conditions. Applicants MUST also be able to lift at least 30 lbs (A full crate of eggs), but preferably 50 lbs so that they can help with feeding the chickens. Finally, applicants MUST be reliable. Inability to show up for work on the scheduled date/time is unacceptable, as it places an enormous burden on the rest of the farm team. Hours are typically between 8am-4pm, but can vary with the seasons and/or to accommodate farm workers’ schedules. More hours are always available to anyone who’s willing to help and eager to learn. Though on a smaller scale, we also produce Pasture-Raised Turkey and Chicken. All of the above are produced using the most innovative and efficient farm equipment we can source from all around the World. This modern technology helps us do more with less people/effort. We’re also working to improve both our soil and the lives of the animals who live on it by using regenerative agricultural practices. We plan to eventually diversify the farm further by adding Sheep into our pasture rotation. This addition will help us to improve our soil, small water cycle, carbon sequestration, farm sales, and MUCH more!
