This is a critical role on our production team, responsible for operating a Harvester (similar to a Trebro) to ensure efficient and timely sod harvesting across our expansive 1,000+ acre farm in Springfield, South Carolina. As a Harvester Operator, you’ll play a vital part in the quality and productivity of our harvest. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in precision work, values teamwork, and is dependable day in and day out. Experience with agricultural machinery is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities and Duties Operate a harvester safely and efficiently to harvest sod according to production schedules Conduct daily maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment Collaborate closely with team members to coordinate fieldwork and maximize efficiency Follow farm safety standards and protocols at all times Monitor and report equipment performance and field conditions to supervisors Company Culture and Character Expectations Our company cultivates a culture of collaboration, innovation, and integrity. Qualifications Prior experience operating large agricultural machinery preferred (e.g., Trebro harvester) Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our Springfield, SC location Willingness to work extended hours during peak harvest times Safety Protocols We prioritize the safety and well-being of our team members.
