Irrigation Technician AquaQuest Irrigation Clarksville, TN 37040 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in various landscapes. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems, ensuring proper coverage and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages. Perform repairs on irrigation components using hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure the health of gardens and lawns through effective irrigation practices. Dig trenches for new irrigation lines and install necessary components as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on mechanical knowledge and landscape requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems effectively. Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to build, dig, and install various components of irrigation systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. A passion for gardening and maintaining beautiful landscapes is a plus.
