We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Grooms and Stable Workers to join our team on a freelance, part-time, or fill-in basis. This is the perfect role for someone looking to work with horses in a variety of settings, including vacation relief and seasonal help.

Job Responsibilities:

Basic stable hand duties (mucking stalls, sweeping, maintaining cleanliness) Feeding and watering horses Grooming horses (brushing, mane/tail care, bathing, etc.) Assisting with tacking up, untacking, and other grooming-related tasks Turnout/bringing horses in from the pasture Help with saddling, mounting, and basic care needs as required Maintaining equipment and tack Assist with barn chores and organization as needed Flexibility to take on different tasks as required (tasks may vary)

Qualifications:

Previous experience with horses is a must (even if limited experience, such as owning or handling horses) Knowledge of basic stable management and horse care is a plus Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced staff Comfortable working in all weather conditions Must have transportation to and from the stable Flexible schedule (weekdays, weekends, or evenings) Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required): Experience grooming or tacking up horses Ability to handle multiple horses at once Horse training experience (optional) Why Join Us?
