- Monitors the health of all animals on the premises and notes any behavioral changes, inputs and maintains records
- Assist with some milking and keeping environment clean
- Treats minor injuries or illnesses as they occur per health and vet protocols
- Assists with movement of animals with farm structures
- Gives vaccinations and other injections per vet protocols
- Works closely with the vet during health checks, and other herdspersons
- Driving some farm equipment on farm like a skidsteer and bedding tractor as necessary
