As we continue to grow, we are looking for an energetic and dedicated Microgreen Lead Farm Hand & Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Microgreen Lead Farm Hand & Manager will play a key role in the daily operations of the farm, ensuring our crops are grown efficiently and effectively while maintaining the farm’s overall success. You’ll oversee the cultivation, harvesting, and packaging processes while helping us scale our operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about local food production and looking to grow alongside a vibrant and forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
Farm Management:
Lead daily farm operations, including planting, seeding, watering, and harvesting of microgreens.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and train farm hands, ensuring everyone is working efficiently, safely, and according to our high standards.
Harvesting & Packaging:
Oversee the harvesting process, ensuring quality control and packaging of microgreens for distribution.
Crop Care:
Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, light, etc.) and make adjustments to optimize crop yields.
Inventory Management:
Track inventory levels of seeds, soil, and packaging materials, ensuring the farm has everything it needs for smooth operations.
Quality Control:
Ensure all crops meet the farm’s high-quality standards and make improvements where necessary.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of daily operations, crop growth, and product output for analysis and planning. Collaboration with
Management:
Communicate with the management team regarding any operational challenges, opportunities for improvement, and overall farm performance.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in Agriculture of experience working in farming, gardening, or a related field. Experience with microgreens is a plus.
Leadership Skills:
Strong ability to lead a small team, set expectations, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Attention to
Detail:
Able to assess crop health, ensure quality standards, and identify potential issues before they become problems.
Physical Stamina:
The role involves manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Quick to adapt to challenges and make decisions that benefit the farm’s efficiency and output. Passion for
Sustainable Agriculture:
A genuine interest in sustainable farming practices and local food production.
Strong Communication:
Able to clearly communicate tasks, goals, and challenges with team members and management.
Job Requirements:

Availability:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on farm needs. Ability to
