COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are an organic family farm located an 45 minutes outside Portland, ME. Our 10 acres of vegetables are marketed through a farmstand at the farm, at weekly farmer’s markets, through our CSA, and several wholesale accounts.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for farmers! The schedule is very flexible, full or part-time, through the end of the season.
Farmers work planting, cultivating, harvesting, processing and selling vegetables on our farm.
All operational aspects of our farm will be taught, and no prior farming experience is needed to apply.
Applicants must be at least18 years old and able to, repeatedly, lift 50lbs above their waist.
Starting and stopping dates are flexible. The Farmer position starts at $18 per hour, and free access to vegetables at the farm.
COMPENSATION
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
