Assistant Manager Bell Farm Shops Gift Shop Bell Farm Shops Gift Shop 1 Broadway, York, ME 03909 Who We Are Bell Farm Shops is a distinctive collection of specialty shops located in a charming red barn along Route 1 in York, Maine. Our property features a Gift & Home store, Backyard Birds & Garden, and Forever Christmas, along with an on-site food trailer, Nectar Cafe. Set on 2.3 scenic acres, Bell Farm is more than a shopping destination — we host classes, events, and seasonal daylily sales. Our mission is to create an experience that inspires visitors to explore, enjoy, and share with others. Assistant Manager Responsibilities Assist in managing the part-time team, keeping them motivated and aligned with the Bell Farm mission Open and close the shop Assist customers with exceptional service Create and manage daily task lists based on the needs of the day Lead morning meetings to set daily priorities Train new employees on floor operations and new product knowledge Provide both positive and constructive feedback to staff Recognize potential in employees and delegate tasks accordingly Write daily end-of-day recap emails Check in, tag, and move new products to the selling floor promptly Assist with lifting up to 50 lbs as needed Restock and replenish inventory Maintain a clean, orderly store environment Monitor and fulfill online orders Hours 5 days per week – The typical schedule would be Thursday-Monday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

Typical shifts:

9:30 AM-5:30 PM, occasional shifts: 10:30 AM-6:30 PM Must be available to work weekends This is a year-round position Benefits Employee discount Paid time off (PTO) accrued up to 40 hours Please note: Health insurance is not currently offered.
