This full-time position requires a skilled individual capable of managing daily operations and strategically guiding the network of all college farms including beef, dairy, and swine along with the crucial supporting elements of agronomy, processing plant, feed mill and greenhouses. The ideal candidate should be a team player and analytical thinker who demonstrates proactive leadership through effective administrative practices. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with others. A significant focus of the role involves the direct oversight of the college’s beef cattle herd, facilitating daily care, accurate record-keeping, and sound financial management, alongside the mentorship and supervision of student workers. The successful candidate must embrace the College’s Christ-centered mission and serve as a mentor and positive role model for our students.

Required qualifications:

advanced degree in agriculture or related field with a minimum of five years of management-level experience in the agriculture industry. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Preferred starting date is June 1, 2025.
