As Area Research Manager, you’ll guide multidisciplinary teams, lead research trials across field, greenhouse, and lab settings, and work closely with clients to shape the future of crop protection and sustainable agriculture. You’ll have the autonomy and support to lead meaningful research, drive commercial success, and build strong relationships across the industry. What You’ll Do Lead field, greenhouse, and laboratory trials evaluating foliar, soil, and seed-applied products on vegetable, fruit, and row crops Oversee and mentor scientific, field, and facility staff to ensure excellence in execution Design experiments, manage data collection and reporting, and oversee project lifecycles Engage directly with clients and cooperators to ensure alignment on trial objectives and execution Prepare research proposals, negotiate contracts, and support business development efforts Identify emerging trends in crop protection and agricultural innovation Ensure rigorous data integrity, efficient scheduling, and accurate technical reporting Maintain high standards for research equipment, facilities, and compliance Participate in professional development and ensure regulatory licensing requirements are met What You Bring M.S. or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or related field 5+ years of leadership in agricultural research and product development Strong working knowledge of pest management and plant disease in fruit and vegetable systems Hands-on experience in field, greenhouse, and lab environments Demonstrated ability to write research proposals and lead client communications Excellent project management, team leadership, and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research data platforms Why Join Us?
