Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for managing all post-harvest activities including harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, packaging, and pre-rolling of cannabis. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, knowledge of cannabis regulations, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire post-harvest process: harvest scheduling, drying, curing, trimming, sorting, and packaging Ensure product quality standards are met or exceeded throughout post-harvest stages Train, supervise, and schedule post-harvest staff and pre-roll team to maintain productivity and adherence to SOPs Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations (e.g., METRC) Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) during drying and curing to optimize product quality Work cross-functionally with cultivation, compliance, and QA teams Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of post-harvest areas Manage post-harvest inventory and assist with internal audits and inventory reconciliation Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and product consistency

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in post-harvest operations in cannabis or related agricultural/processing field Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience 21+ years of age and ability to pass a background check Valid Driver’s license In-depth knowledge of cannabis post-harvest best practices and quality standards Familiarity with state cannabis compliance systems (e.g., METRC) and MS Office Suite Strong leadership and team management experience Ability to lift 55 lbs, work on feet for extended periods, and climb stairs & ladders safely with or without accommodation
