Utility Manager Tom Adams Construction, Inc Rabun Gap, GA 30568 Overview The Utility Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our utility operation. This position is responsible for overseeing the utility team, ensuring that all jobs are operated efficient and cost-effective delivery of essential services like water and wastewater. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of the utility staff to ensure efficient operations. Plan and execute utility job, ensuring minimal disruption to service and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding utility services, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Support catering events by preparing necessary items and maintaining cleanliness during service. Train new utility staff on proper techniques, procedures, and safety protocols. Monitor environmental impact and implement sustainable practices Monitor inventory levels of material and report needs to management. Skills Experience in utility management is preferred. Strong knowledge of practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments. Familiarity with software to maintain daily logs and documentation. Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
